Movember – Nov 09
Movember is about raising much needed funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men. Important when you learn that close to 3,000 men die of prostate cancer each year in Australia and one in eight men will experience depression in their lifetime, many of whom do not seek help.
This Movember 3 members of Scenport Constructions’ Management team agreed to participate in Movember to help raise money for the cause. The challenge was to see who could grow the biggest & dirtiest Mo –

Scenport Constructions takes Award at MBA night – Aug 09
Scenport Constructions was successful in winning an award at the 2009 MBA awards night. For Customs House VIP Lounge Bar we received the award for Excellence in Refurbishment / Fit out up to $500,000.
Scenport Apprentice Wins Award – Jun 09
At the Construction South Apprentice Awards in April, Greg Millhouse
successfully won his nominated category - Commitment to Construction.
Scenport Constructions is once again very proud to be able to nominate
Apprentices for the Tasmanian Skills Institute (formally TAFE) Construction
South Apprentice Awards. The awards are run every year to enable
employers and the industry to recognise and reward those Apprentices
who have had an exceptional year and have contributed a huge effort to
their chosen trade.
