Scenport Constructions is committed to employing and training the best apprentices in the industry. Our goal is to nurture them to become trades people that are at the top of their field. Our apprenticeship training goes further than the technical aspects of being a tradesman to incorporate training and discussion on a range of topics relevant to apprentices i.e. finances, health and alcohol abuse etc. We are pleased to say that many of our apprentices stay with or return to Scenport Constructions and become some of our very best senior managers.
Aside from trades people Scenport Constructions employs people in clerical and administrative roles and our focus on training extended to these roles as well. We believe our internal team is amongst one of the best in the industry. The people who work in this area supporting our construction teams are skilled professionals. We focus on recruiting the best people and training them to become even better.
Even though Scenport Constructions is a large company we cling to the small company philosophies of trust and respect for our people. This philosophy started in our early days many years ago when there were just two people; we are determined to ensure these values stay with us now and into the future.
All work and no play makes for a very boring life so at Scenport Constructions we regularly host fun days for our staff and key contractors. Go Cart Challenges and Golf Days are memorable ones that spring to mind.
